Gewa Electronic Drums
GEWA music was founded in 1925 by Georg Walther in Adorf, Vogtland, Germany. At first, the company was dedicated to the tradition of the Vogtland region, making stringed instruments. Shortly afterwards, the company started to produce its own cases and bags in Adorf.
In addition to the distribution of well-known brands such as Drum Workshop, REMO, PAISTE, Latin Percussion, Gibraltar, Toca and Gretsch, in 2020, digital drums have also been developed under the "GEWA - Made in Germany" brand in the GEWA Drums division. The production of the innovative G series, designed for professional users, takes place directly in Adorf.

The GEWA G5 Pro 5 is an middle class E-Drum set with dual zone snare and tom pads.
The cymbal pads with 3 zones for Edge, Bow and Cup are 360° playable and chokeable on the entire surface. The E-Drum has a compact and user-friendly sound module with the sound engine taken from the GEWA Top Modul G9. It offers an extensive selection of 40 preset drum kits and 901 instrument sounds, recorded at the Funkhaus Studios in Berlin. You can create another 128 individual user kits with these sounds. The module comes with useful effects like Ambient, Instrument Reverb, Room Reverb and Multi-FX. |

The GEWA G3 Pro series comes with a sturdy hardware pack developed by GEWA. This doesn’t only make the kit look really good, but also isolates external vibrations. This comes in really handy when you’re playing on stage and you want to avoid cross-triggering.
The GEWA G3 is aimed at the drummer who wants to fully focus on their performance rather than the technical refinements and possibilities of an electronic drum kit. In the GEWA G3 module, the touchscreen has been replaced by hardware buttons and a modern OLED display. This makes operation particularly intuitive and all important functions are directly available.

The Series 3 Studio 5 is a five-piece electronic kit, comprising all-mesh snare, tom, and kick pads. As well as the drums pads, the G3 Studio 5 comes with a 14" crash cymbal, 14" hi hats, and an 18" ride cymbal.
It can be expanded with an additional pair of Aux trigger inputs to the back of the module, and the triggers are all connected to individual sockets rather than using a cable snake.
The GEWA G3 module uses the same triggering technology as the brand's more expensive modules and houses 40 high-resolution drum kit presets, built from a total of over 900 individual voices.
The library was captured at Berlin's Funkhaus Studios, with up to 1000 samples used per-instrument, and GEWA says that the sounds are identical to the samples used in the top-flight G9 module.
As well as the on-board sounds, each pad can be processed with its own EQ and compression, and the module also houses 12 reverb effects, 9 multi-FX categories and a master EQ and compressor. There's an on-board WAV recorder, with an internal memory of 128GB, plus the USB interface allows for easy Audio and MIDI connectivity to a MAC or PC.
