ONE is a series of one off completely individual snare drum and drum set products. Every single drum or drum set manufactured within the ONE programme will be ‘1 of 1’, a completely unique instrument that will never be duplicated under the Premier brand.
Each month the Premier plant in Lancashire will manufacture a small quantity of snare drums and drum sets utilizing different shell construction along with a huge variety of beautiful veneers, some of them amongst the rarest veneers in the world.
The products will feature varying shell construction including different core materials and will all feature different outer and inner veneer combinations and will include some breathtaking and groundbreaking outer veneer combinations along with both modern and classic Premier shell designs.
In order that the drums can each retain a unique identity all snare drums will be named after British towns and villages and drum sets will be named after British cities and counties. To this end the range will feature snare drums such as The Kibworth, The Mawdesley, The Eccleston etc and drum sets will be named The Manchester, The Lincoln and the Edinburgh etc. Each drum will have its own unique certification which will give a clear overview of its construction and will be signed by Keith Keough, our head of manufacture.
