Founded in 1901, Paiste is one of the biggest manufacturers of cymbals & gongs in the world. They invented the B8 Alloy cymbals, such as the 2002s, Giant Beat, RUDE, which are widely used in popular music today. Paiste Cymbals are made in Switzerland (with the exception of the 101, 201, PST 3 & PST 5 series that are made in Germany) and they are handcrafted to perfection. Series Description: The 900 Series is crafted from 2002 Bronze, with its legendary warmth, brilliance and strength. In sophisticated hybrid manufacturing the cymbals are refined by Swiss craftsmanship with hand-hammering and lathing. A special finish slightly darkens the cymbals and amplifies the lathing grooves and hammer marks for a spectacular appearance that fuses roughness and elegance.

Series Description: Paiste first pioneered colour-coated cymbals with COLORSOUND 5 in 1984 as a means for artistic expression during the time period when popular music became visual in music videos on television. In the 1990s the VISIONS series made an appearance, and in recent years certain artist-inspired models feature colour coating - Stewart Copeland's Blue Bell Ride, Aquiles Priester's Giga Bell Ride and Danny Carey's Dry Heavy Ride. In 2014, three crashes and two hi-hats join the series to expand the unique Masters sound atmosphere to additional cymbal types. Masters integrate the experience of the decades-long art of cymbal making with the inspiration of international top drummers.
